The Personal Side About Rolly Ayotte

 

Rolly’s personal interests and hobbies play an integral part in making him a successful real estate professional.  

Rolly Ayotte is married to Cindy Hudson and live in Southdale.  Cindy is a Nurse Educator in Medecine at the Health Sciences Centre.   They have one son Colin, who specialized in Culinary Art as a Chef.  Recently, Colin returned from Canmore, Alberta to attend University of Manitoba. The Ayottes also have a cute little Bichon Frisee named “Pancakes”.

                              

Rolly is a sports enthusiast!  He enjoys playing hockey, downhill skiing, x-country skiing, mountain biking and the occasional jog.  

                                                 

Rolly is an outdoorsman!  He enjoys, canoeing, fishing and hiking.  His most memorable hike was down the Grand Canyon and then rafting 160 km. down the Colorado River!  

        

                   

Rolly also loves to cook!  Whether it be haute cuisine, pastas, international dishes, salads or simply a back yard barbecue, his knowledge of food are astonishingly pleasing to the palate.  His passion and art for food definitely influenced his son to be a chef.

Rolly is involved with his community.  As a former board of directors member of the Festival du Voyageur, Rolly managed the popular Brigade de la Riviere Rouge Taverne in Fort Gibraltor Park during the Festival week. 

                           

The Brigade de la Riviere Rouge is another organization which forms an important part of Rolly’s personal life.  This canoeing club promotes the "joie de vivre" of the French historical heritage of the Voyageur and the great respect for the environment and nature. 

Almost every summer, Rolly participates in an annual canoe trip in northern Ontario with this group.  In addition, the B.R.R. volunteers in ~SELECT~ed community fund raisers such as the MS walk.  Rolly also participates in International parades at various American Festivals in St. Paul, Minnesota and La Crosse, Wisconsin hosted by the Festival du Voyageur.  

                             

Everyone enjoys travelling and Rolly is no exception, especially after a long year of hard work!  Quite often Rolly is late for dinner, and in some instances certain family outings have to be shuffled around since most of the time Rolly is out on appointments in the evenings and on many weekends..

                            

Rolly Ayotte is also a board member of the St. Boniface - St.Vital Rotary Club.  Rotary is an international organization of professional business men and women who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world.  By giving back to the community through service above self, Rolly’ s volunteer help and financial contributions help make a difference  in people lives that are less fortunate.
